As a birth mom and the executive director of Pregnancy Services of Greater Lansing, Lindsay Walters is passionate about helping women in unplanned pregnancies.
After spending nearly 18 years in the credit union industry, Lindsay made a career jump that she considers heart work and a calling. Seven years ago she experienced an unplanned pregnancy where she was being coerced by her then-fiancée to have an abortion. By the grace of God and a phone call back home to her mom in Michigan, she chose life and an adoption plan for her daughter.
Lindsay holds master’s degrees in Family Studies and Business Administration with concentrations in organizational consulting and human resource development from Spring Arbor University, and a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. She serves as an ambassador for the pro-adoption organization BraveLove, and is actively involved in her church and community.
